What Is Deepest Sword?

Deepest Sword is an adorable and difficult combination of puzzle and platformer whose protagonist, a brave knight, sets out in the loftier mission of slaying a dragon. The longer your sword gets with every level, the more hilarious the precision-patience act your knight must undertake! A game presented by Cosmic Adventure Squad starring a 2D knight balancing humor with strategy and fast-paced action; the caverns on the run-hold treachery, fiery missives impale, and, yes, along the way, a kitten must be rescued.

How To Play

Reach the dragon, and strike it down, with that being your goal. But each time you do that, your sword grows longer, and moving, let alone timing an attack, gets trickier. Here are the controls used to steer your knight:

Keyboard and Mouse

Move: WASD
Swing Sword: Mouse buttons

Keyboard Only

Move: WASD or Arrow Keys
Swing Sword: Pressing > or X and Z

Speedrunning Shortcuts

Full Reset: Num 0 (for those daring speedruns!)

Tips and Tricks

Keep your patience: The longer the sword, the slower its swings, so time your attacks carefully.
Know your enemy: Fire proves lethal, so watch your master very closely because his timings are quite predictable.
Use the walls: Sometimes bouncing off the walls will place your sword just where you want it.
Don't resist growing pains: The longer the sword, the more fun you have; embrace it!
