What Is Getting Over Snow?

Getting Over Snow is a skill-based climbing game focused on utmost precision, where a small slip of thoughtlessness in timing or impatience could mean a big fall. The activity takes place on a dangerous mountain covered with snow and ice, where you carefully need to swing and climb toward the summit, all the while dodging deadly hazards that include lurking eagles, mammoth pots, and red spikes. Because of its unique physics-based control system, each move has to be calculated carefully; one wrong swing and you fall!

How to Play

Controls: Use your mouse or finger (on touchscreen devices) to swing the hammer and climb.
Movement: Click-drag to extend the hammer, then release the click to latch it onto surfaces.
Goal: Climb as high as you possibly can while collecting gems to assist in purchase upgrades.

Tips & Tricks

Precision Over Speed: A hurried swing spells a disaster; so take your time.
Beware Hazards: Eagles and spikes mean death; a path wisely planned is your salvation.
Collect Gems: The gems open up fresh hammer sleeves and character skins at the shop.
Remember the Physics: Gravity works, so use your momentum wisely during swing movements to avoid slipping.

Originally inspired by the notoriously infuriating Getting Over It, this winter-themed variant gives a chilling twist with slippery slopes and fresh hazards. It is truly a test of endurance, skill, and may just be your sanity!
