Basketball Stars: An Overview

Basketball Stars in essence is a cardio-induced co-op basketball simulation with street aberration taking place into the limelight on the screen. It consists of intuitive controls and fast-paced gameplay in which the player gets to live in the moment of being a pro, pulling off slick dribbles, clutch shots, and just as fancy blocks by himself, the other player, in a one-on-one competition. Face against others online, friends, or even the AI; whatever the way, adrenaline flows with multiple modes, character customization, and different kinds of courts.

How to Play

Movement: Use the left joystick to move across the court.
Dribbling: Flick the right joystick to display fancy handles.
Shooting: Hold the shoot button and release when your shot is well-timed for perfect accuracy or tap for instant release.
Passing: Tap the pass button to throw it to a teammate (if any).
Defend: Hold the steal button to snatch the ball, or tap block to bat down a shot.
Turbo: Hold the turbo button to gain a short burst of speed.
Special Moves: Unlock cool moves by performing combo actions.

Tips & Tricks

Timing-Crucial. Release your shot at the highest point in your jump for better accuracy.
Keep `em Guessing. Mix up your dribbles with speedy passes.
Cut Down Driving Lanes. Help on defense—even if you're not stealing, try to block the lanes where the opponent wants to drive.
Don't Overuse Turbo. Only boost your speed at strategic moments; blowing it too soon can backfire.
Work Towards Upgrades. Play through tournaments and events to gain currency required for customizations that showcase your own style.
