What's The Sims 2 (GBA)?

The Sims 2 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance is a quirky story-driven turn on the classic life simulation series. Unlike the open-ended PC version, this handheld variation throws the player into the shoes of a Sim cast in Strangetown, a fictional 12-episode TV show packed with humor, mystery, and strange characters. A show, in part, sort of simulation, with about 40 percent retro charm.

History

The GBA version put a much more narrative-driven spin on The Sims 2, building on mechanics that came from previous handheld offerings like The Urbz: Sims in the City. Its meta-"TV show" premise, coupled with its episodic design, garnered it a cult following amongst the portable Sim family.
