What is Doctor Acorn 2?

Doctor Acorn 2 is an endearing and somewhat challenging puzzle-platformer, where one helps the good doctor recover his lost disk of light. Making use of mechanisms similar to the first installment, the sequel developed by Mini Duck Games features quirky obstacles set in a strange treetop world. Journey through 10 levels with fans, clouds, bees, and snickering ducks while collecting stars, avoiding enemies, and necessarily arriving at the exit portal.

How to Play

Movement: Use fans to roll Dr. Acorn around—click to turn on and off.
Interaction: Click clouds to make them solid (or vanish), and click ducks really fast to pop them.
Objectives: Collect all three stars on each level and run through the yellow portal.
Progress: Proceed through levels sequentially—you must finish one to unlock the next!

Tips & Tricks

Plan Ahead: Look at fan placements and cloud patterns before going in.
Timing is the Key: Some obstacles (like bees) are moving with a predictable course—wait for the right moment.
Duck Patrol: Pop the ducks quickly—or else they'll just respawn if left too long!
Secret Shortcuts: Try clicking on clouds—some might reveal shortcuts.

History

Following up on the original Doctor Acorn, the sequel fleshes out its puzzle mechanics by introducing new interactive elements (bees and dynamic clouds) and providing a tighter level design. The goal is delightfully simple as ever: help the doctor reclaim his light disk, but the road is filled with new challenges.
