What is Paper Minecraft?

Paper Minecraft is an enchanting 2D survival and creativity game recreating the original Minecraft experience with an unusual papercraft feel. It retains the basic interactivity of gathering resources, crafting, and building but offers an alternate visual style. The game basically has three modes: survival, creative, and peaceful, giving it a good mix of playstyles to either fight enemies, design freely, or roam in a stressless manner.

Gameplay

Survival mode is about managing hunger and health along with resources while defending yourself from hostile mobs.
Creative Mode means owning unlimited blocks and no threats, the ultimate mode for building without restrictions.
Peaceful Mode allows one to chill, explore, and build peacefully since the enemies do not spawn.

Basic Controls:
Movement is done with the arrow keys or WASD.
Mine or place blocks using the mouse.
Craft by using resources gathered.
Jump around and interact with the environment, either to survive or to create.

Tips & Tricks

Prioritize Your Tools: Your first tool should be a wooden pickaxe. It allows you to mine stone, which facilitates quicker upgrades.
Build Shelter: Put together a simple base to keep enemies at bay before nightfall.
Food Farming: Plant crops like wheat so you keep your hunger steady during survival.
Explore Caves: Don’t miss out on ore down there; be sure to carry torches!

History

It is a fan-made version inspired by the Scratch versions from Griffpatch and Jurassic_World123, which pay tribute to Mojang's Minecraft. This unofficial version is a creative adaptation of the original through community aid, including developers such as Oldcoinmania and Scratchactics.
